Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) is opening a new laboratory in 2021 named the “Clinical Molecular Diagnostic Center” that is able to perform PCR testing as part of the government plan to strengthen preparedness during COVID-19 pandemic. This newly established laboratory with capacity to conduct more than 1000 testing per day, will carry out testing and diagnosis of other infectious diseases such as influenza, tuberculosis, STDs, viral hepatitis and etc.
